VISITING PARTY BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
College Pines Golf Club is a very friendly club and we will go out of way to ensure that your day with us is one to remember. However, it is important that the following terms and conditions are brought to the attention of everyone in your group to ensure satisfaction for all.
- EQUIPMENT
Each player must be equipped with his or her own set of clubs.
- ETIQUETTE
Each player is expected to be aware of, and adhere to, the normal rules and etiquette of golf. This includes repairing divots and pitch marks please.
- DRESS
On the course: Players must wear conventional trousers or tailored shorts with appropriate socks, together with a collared shirt and proper golf shoes, preferably with soft spikes.
In the clubhouse: Smart casual dress is acceptable in all areas at all times. Our spike bar is accessible in golf shoes although these cannot be worn in the dining room. Please remove all wet clothing before entering the clubhouse.
Caps should be removed upon entering the clubhouse.
Please note that we cannot allow denim jeans, combat trousers, collarless shirts, trainers or brief shorts either on the course or in the clubhouse.
Our golf reception will be pleased to clarify any questionable items.
- TEE TIMES
Your reserved tee times will be pre-arranged according to your final confirmation of booking and it is therefore essential that these be strictly adhered to.
- MOBILE TELEPHONES
Whilst these are not prohibited we do ask that they are used with discretion.
- TROLLEYS AND BUGGIES
Players should observe and comply with all directional notices and respect the course at all times. In general please keep all wheeled items well away from teeing areas, greens, bunkers and their surroundings. Where paths exist it would be appreciated if these were used.
- FORMAT OF PLAY
Play to be in groups of four unless prior arrangements have been agreed. No Texas Scramble formats are permitted. Pace of play is fourball and up to 4¼ hours per round should be allowed.
- BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS
Bookings cannot be recognised until a non-refundable deposit has been received.
Final numbers must be confirmed 1 week prior to the event. we reserve the right to charge for shortfalls not declared and thus strongly recommend that as organiser you collect an appropriate deposit from each member of your group.
- PAYMENTS
We accept all major credit and debit cards when making in house or telephone bookings. Only personal cheques in the name of the organiser will be accepted.
